40 gallon hot water heater replacement

Water Heaters Only, Inc Phoenix just replaced a 40 gallon leaking water heater!

Water Heaters Only, Inc Phoenix replaced a 40 gallon leaking water heater at a single family residence with a new water heater of the same size.

Our complete installation included installing earthquake strapping and bracing per the state earthquake requirements, installing a new water shut-off valve and hot and cold water lines, securing the vent, re-piping the gas line with a new flex line, and installing a drip leg/sediment trap and a shut-off valve.

We installed a drip pan with a drain line.  We then insulated the hot and cold water lines. Then we ran the temperature/ pressure overflow pipe to an approved location and insulate the valve and piping. Finally we removed the old water heater and hauled it away for disposal.

Our technician then lit the pilot on the water heater and made sure the burner turns on to heat the water. While the water heater is heating up, he cleaned up the area around the water heater and packed up his tools.

Finally, our technician went over all the aspects of the new water heater with the homeowner including how the unit operates, how our warranty works, why the WHO sticker on the water heater is so important and how long it will take for the unit to fully heat. A permit was obtained via the city and the inspection passed.
